2 1/2 lb. stew meat (or small roast cut up)
3 stalks celery, sliced
6 med. carrots, sliced
3 med. onions, quartered

or 1 jar pearl onions, drained
8 small to medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. minute tapioca
2 tbsp. A-1 sauce
1 tbsp. kitchen bouquet or worcestershire sauce
1 can (medium) tomatoe juice or a can of tomato sauce and can of water
1 can (medium or large) undrained tomatoes

Mix everything together in a large kettle with a tight fitting lid. Do not peek.
Bake in 250 oven for 5 hours
Or you can put in the crockpot
You can add frozen peas or corn
