1-1 1/2 lbs Ground Turkey (or beef)
Onion Powder to taste
3 Tbs Brown Sugar
2 Tbs Vinegar
3 Tbs Chili Powder
1 can Tomato Soup
1 large can Diced Tomatoes (or 2 15oz cans)
2 cans Kidney Beans

Directions:

Brown turkey with onion powder. Drain fat (if any). Add remaining ingredients except kidney beans. Simmer for a few hours.
Add kidney beans. Simmer 1/2 hour.

I grew up in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York. My mother (Oma) made this for us on those cold winter days. It's even better re-heated. And corn bread is a wonderful addition!
