1 whole chicken or boneless chicken breasts
sliced celery
sliced onion
sliced carrots
Noodles (can substitute white, brown or wild rice)
Chicken bullion optional

Nana T used a whole chicken and simmered it on top of the stove all day and deboned it when it was ready.
Now, using boneless chicken breasts in the oven is easier ( 325 degrees)
Either way, simmer the chicken in water with salt and pepper.
Add sliced celery, onion, and carrots
Nana used homemade Kluski-like noodles (They can be bought) and they are added at least a half hour before serving.
(Bullion can be added to enhance flavor- and white rice, brown rice or wild rice can be substituted for the noodles.)
The important thing is that it needs to cook at least 4 hours.
