Ingredients: 2 C butter
2 C sugar
2 C brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
4 C flour
5 C blended oatmeal (measure and blend in blender until its a fine flour powder)
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
24 oz chocolate chips
18 oz grated Hershey bar
3 C chopped nuts

Directions: |
Directions:Cream butter, add both sugars. Add egg, and vanilla. Mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and baking soda. Add chips, candy bar, and nuts. Roll into a ball (the size of a golf ball) and place on cookie sheet. Bake for 6-10 mins at 375. Makes 112 cookies. |

Notes: A friend of a friend had lunch at The Hedges at Neiman Marcus in Dallas TX in November. For dessert she had a cookie. She thought it was the most wonderful cookie she ever tasted and she asked if the recipe was available. She was told that it was, but that there would be a charge of two fifty. She said that as fine, took the recipe, and told them to charge her account.
In December when she received her bill, there was a charge of $250. She called and told them that there was a mistake and was told that it was not a mistake, the charge was correct.
She has vowed to get back at them and wants the recipe to get out to everyone she can possibly get it out to. She asks that everyone who gets a copy send it to everyone that they know. So, here it is!
