1 c. shortening
1-1/2 c. white sugar
2 eggs
2-3/4 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together. Chill dough. Roll into balls the size of walnuts. Roll in a mixture of 2 tbsp. white sugar and 2 tsp. cinnamon. Place about 2 in. apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350º until lightly browned.
