2/3 c. shortening
1 tbsp. water
2 eggs
1/3 c. Hershey's cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1-1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1-1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Combine shortening, brown sugar, water and vanilla. Add eggs. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, salt and mix together. Combine with first mixture and add chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by spoonful onto cookie sheet and bake at 350º for 7 to 9 minutes or until done. Do not overbake
