Ingredients:  
• 1 small can crushed pineapple
• 1/2 C butter or margarine
• 1 C light brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 2 C flour
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 6-oz package of butterscotch chips
• 1/2 C chopped walnuts
• Candied cherries for decoration

Directions:
Directions:
Strain pineapple into bowl. Cream butter and sugar. Add egg, 3 Tbs pineapple syrup and beat. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Mix well. Dump in crushed pineapple, butterscotch bits and nuts and stir. Drop onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 10-12 mins. Top with Cherries. Makes 24 soft cookies.
