• 2 eggs
• ½ tsp salt
• 2 C flour
• 1 C sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 1 ½ C floured blueberries
• 1/3 C milk
• ½ C shortening


Lemon Sauce

• 2 C sugar
• 1 egg
• ½ C butter
• 1 heaping TBSP flour
• 1 ½ C boiling water
• 1 ½ tsp lemon extract
• pinch of salt

Combine sugar, egg, butter, flour, salt and boiling water until mixed. Add lemon extract after it cools. Pour over blueberry cake when serving.

Mix all ingredients together. Add berries last. Bake at 350 in small cake pan for 30-35 minutes until top browns. Top with Lemon Sauce.
