Ingredients:

vegetable oil
Gebhardt refried beans
salsa
Cheddar cheese, grated
cumin
sour cream
lettuce, shredded
white onion, chopped
salt & pepper
ground beef (optional; see below)

Directions:
Directions:
Fry tortillas in vegetable oil, and drain on paper towel. Spray skillet with Pam, and add refried beans. Season beans with salt, pepper, and cumin. Add a few sprinkles of grated cheese and some salsa for flavor. When beans are done, layer tostadas with beans, sour cream, onions, lettuce, salt & pepper, cheese, and salsa.
I do not use beef, only beans. However, if you do, brown, season, and drain your beef. Place on the chalupa following the beans.

Personal Notes:
This was probably Parker and Molly Kate’s favorite meal when they were kids. I think it was mine too!!
