3 oz cream cheese, softened
2-3 T. butter, melted
2 c. cooked, cubed chicken
2 T. milk
¼ tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 T. chopped chives or chopped onion
1 T. slivered almonds or chopped pimento (optional)
1 8 oz can refrigerated crescent rolls
¾ c seasoned croutons, crushed

Directions:
Directions:
In bowl, blend cream cheese and 1-2 T butter until smooth.
Add chicken, milk, salt, pepper, chives, and pimento. Mix well.
Separate crescent rolls into 4 rectangles; firmly press perforations to seal.
Spoon about ½ c meat mixture into center of each rectangle.
Pull four corners of dough to top center of filling, twist slightly and seal edges.
Brush tops with reserved 1 T melted butter, dip in crumbs.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 20 min or until golden brown.

Can also use separate the crescent rolls into 8 triangles and make smaller "chicken squares".
