Ingredients:
Ingredients:
18 medium fresh strawberries
1 cu vanilla chips
1 & 1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
3 & 1/2 t shortening, divided
pasty bag or small heavy duty resealable plastic bag
#2 pasty tip

Directions:
Directions:
Line a tray or baking sheet with waxed paper; set aside. Wash strawberries and pat until completely dry. In the top of a double boiler over simmering water or in a microwave-safe bowl, melt vanilla chips with 1 & 12 t shortening. Dip each strawberry until two-thirds is coated, forming the "shirt", allowing excess to drip off. Place on prepared tray; chill 30 minutes or until set.
Melt chocolate chips and remaining shortening. To form the "jacket", dip each side of berry into chocolate from the tip of strawberry to the top of vanilla coating. Repeat on the other side, leaving a white "v" in the center.
Set aside the remaining chocolate. Chill berries for 30 minutes or until set. Remelt reserved chocolate if necessary. If using a plastic bag, cut a small hole in the bottom corner. Insert pastry tip if desired, or you may pipe directly from bag. Fill plastic or pastry bag with melted chocolate. Pipe a "bow tie" at the top of white "v" and two or three buttons down the front of the "shirt". Chill for 30 minutes or until set. Complete strawberries may be stored in the refrigerator in a covered plastic container for 1 day.
