1 9 oz. package choc. cake mix
1/4 cup rum or brandy (optional)
1 can cherry pie filling
1 pkg. chocolate pudding
1 medium pkg cool whip
Directions:
Directions:
Bake cake as directed. Cool and cut in cubes. Prepare pudding as directed. Arrange 1/2 cake cubes in glass bowl. Sprinkle with rum or brandy.
Layer 1/2 of pudding, then 1/2 cherry pie filling, next, 1/2 of cool whip, and repeat layers.

Chill at least 4 hrs. before serving.
