2 boxes Devil's food cake mix
2 Cups shortening
4 eggs
1 can cream cheese frosting
Directions:
Directions:
Mix cake mixes, shortening, and eggs. Roll into balls and bake on cookie sheet. Bake at 350* for about 10-12 minutes.
When cooled, spread frosting between two cookies.

We make these for Halloween and add 4 Licorice strings between the layers to make spider legs and then put dobs of icing topped with red hots for eyes.
