1 c. mashed potatoes
1 c. milk
4 T. butter, melted
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
pinch each of salt and nutmeg
2 1/4 c. flour
4 T. baking powder
vegetable oil for frying

Directions:
Directions:
Mix potatoes with milk and butter. Mix eggs with sugar, salt and nutmeg. Combine these two mixtures. Mix flour and baking powder. Combine with other mixture and mix thoroughly. Refrigerate for one hour. Roll out dough to about one-half inch thick. Cut with a doughnut cutter and deep fry in hot oil (375º).
