4 chicken breasts
12 oz. medium egg noodles
2 cans creamy chicken mushroom soup
1 1/2 cans milk
1 lb. grated mild Cheddar cheese
1 stick butter
4-6 slices of bread

Directions:
Directions:
Boil chicken breasts with onion and bell pepper. Remove chicken breast and strain broth. Return broth to boiler and cook egg noodles in broth until tender. Drain noodles reserving 2 cups of liquid to use later if needed. Debone chicken. In a large mixing bowl, combine chicken and noodles. Combine soup and milk and stir until well blended; add to chicken and noodles along with cheese. If needed, add reserved liquid (not all at once) until desired thickness. It may not take the entire 2 cups. Place in 9x13 baking dish. Melt butter and dredge bread in butter. Tear into croutons size pieces and add to top of casserole. Bake at 350 degrees until bubbly and bread has browned.
