1/2 cup chopped, caramelized onion (sauteed in butter and a sprinkle of sugar)
2 garlic cloves, minced
3 cups fat-free, low sodium chicken broth
4 cups chopped broccoli
2 1/2 cups whole milk
1/3 cup flour
1/4 tsp. pepper
8 ounces cubed velveeta cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Caramelize onion in a big saucepan. Add garlic. Add broth and broccoli. Bring to boil. Simmer about ten minutes. Combine milk and flour. Add milk mixture to broccoli mixture. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly until mixture thickens. Add pepper. Remove from heat and then add cheese. Stir until melted. Enjoy with crusty bead!
