1 9x13 choclate cake (I use a cake mix)
filling
5 Tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. butter
Directions:
Directions:
Bake cake and cool. Mix flour and milk. Cook over low heat until thick. Remove from heat and cool. Place sugar, shortening, butter, salt, and vanilla in mixing bowl and mix, add cooled milk mixture. Beat at high speed until filling is like whipping cream. Cut cooled cake in half lengthwise and put filling between layers. Place top on and frost with glaze or with chocolate frosting of your choice.
