2 c. sugar
6 T. cocoa
1 t. salt
1 t. vanilla
1 c. sour milk
2-1/2 c. flour
2 eggs
2 t. baking soda
1 T. vinegar
2 T. Crisco shortening
1 can frosting of choice

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 7 ingredients, then in a separate bowl mix soda and vinegar. Add to first 7 ingredients. Next mix Crisco to one cup boiling water. Add to other ingredients after shortening has melted. Frost with a good chocolate frosting or German chocolate.
Pour into 9x13 or two round cake pans, greased and floured. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes or until done.
