5-6 cloves garlic
5-1/2 t. garlic juice
2# ground sirloin
1 can (8oz.) tomato paste
1 can (10oz.) tomato sauce
2 cans water (2-1/2 c.)
1/2 t. each of salt, pepper and garlic powder
1 t. Italian seasoning
1/2 t. fennel seeds

Directions:
Brown or roast garlic in skillet in just enough olive oil to coat bottom of pan. Remove cloves. Save oil in pan and keep hot. Form into ground sirloin into meatballs and brown in garlic infused oil. In a separate sauce pan, mix together paste and sauce and the rest of seasonings. Pour over browned meatballs and serve with pasta of choice.

This recipe was from a lady that my dad went to serve the Eucharist to every Sunday. Her spaghetti was out of this world and it was so basic and simple. I wish I would have gotten more Italian recipes from her!
