4 T butter
salt
pepper
garlic powder
paprika

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in large sauce pan over medium heat. Add mushrooms, sprinkle with lots of salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika. Mix and then cover for a few minutes. The mushrooms will shrink as they loose water, stir every few minutes. After about 10 minutes turn the heat to a low simmer. Simmer for an hour to evaporate some of the liquid.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
My Mom made these for every holiday. I'm sure she used more butter and cooked them much longer. She was famous for her brown corn, which was canned corn that she drained and added salt, pepper and butter then simmered for hours, it turned a light brown but the kids loved Grandma's brown corn.
