Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 cups boiling water
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 cups cold water
2 pkgs. dry yeast
1 beaten egg
8-10 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dough Instructions: In very large bowl, dissolve shortening, sugar and salt in the boiling water. Stir until shortening melts. Add 2 cups cold water. Sprinkle yeast on top. Let dissolve, about 10 minutes. Add the beaten egg, stir in flour, 2 cups at a time. The dough will be slightly sticky. Cover and let rise in the refrigerator overnight. Because the dough is sticky, having it cold to work with is helpful.

Assembly instructions: Divide the dough into fourths. In medium bowl, mix 2 cups sugar with 2 T+ cinnamon. Roll out 1/4 dough on floured surface into a rectangle shape about 1/2 inch thick. Spread with butter/margarine generously and sprinkle with 1/4 of sugar/cinnamon mixture. Roll up the shorter side of the rectangle, jelly roll fashion. Slice the roll into 1-2 inch slices and place rolls in well-greased muffins tins. Bake in a 350º oven for about 20 minutes.
