Anita and her former husband, and still business partner, Sam own the Monarch Motel and Sam's Place in the Portland, Oregon area. She and I have been friends since 6th grade. She's a real trooper fighting ovarian cancer for better than 3 years, always a smile on her face and a new story to tell. Enjoy anything she shares as far as recipes...it will be great!
