1/2 cup salad oil
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
1-3 small garlic cloves, minced
1 1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 lbs. fryer chicken cut in parts, or chicken pieces

Directions:
Combine all ingredients, except chicken parts. Place chicken in marinate and refrigerate 4-5 hours, turning several times.
Broil 5-7 inches from heat. About 20-25 minutes until lightly browned. Brush occasionally with sauce. Turn, brown 15-20 minutes more.
VARIATION: Cut 1 pkg. chicken breasts into strips. after marinating, put on skewers alternating with onion slices, bell pepper slices, and mushrooms, etc. BBQ.
