2 eggs
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup butter
1 cup oil
4 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Put all the ingredients except oil and flour into a large bowl and stir and mix well by hand. Then add flour and oil alternately, small amounts at a time, until mixed well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Then press with the bottom of a glass that you dip in colored or white sugar. Bake for 10 minutes. I roll them into little balls then press with the sugared glass.

I use different colored sugar for the holidays: red sugar for Valentines Day, green sugar for St. Patty's day, green and red for Xmas.
