1 cup butter
2 cups granulated sugar
4 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup sour cream
decorating sugars etc...
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar until light. Beat in egg and vanilla, sift dry ingredients and work in alternating with sour cream. Chill dough for 1 hour. Roll out about 1/4 inch thick on floured surface. Place on baking sheet. Dent center of each cookie and decorate with sugars. Bake at 375º for 12 to 15 minutes. Watch so they don't burn.
