2 pounds fresh green beans
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp fresh thyme minced or 1 tsp dried
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/3 cup slivered almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Steam green beans for 10-12 min or until crisp tender. In a large skillet , melt butter , add beans, thyme, salt and pepper. Cook and stir for 5 min. Sprinkle with almonds.

Sometimes I use frozen cut green beans if I am in a hurry, just heat in microwave and then follow directions.
