2 10" Pie Crusts (buy or make from scratch)
2 lbs ground pork butts, fresh ground is best but ground pork in package works too
1 lg onion, finely diced
salt and pepper
1/4 tsp nutmeg
3 large baking potatoes, peeled and cut in quarters

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine ground pork, onion, salt, pepper and nutmeg in large saucepan.
2. Cook on med low for about 1 hour, stirring frequently so pork doesn't stick together
3. About 1/2 hour into cooking pork, put potatoes in large saucepan and cook till soft.
4. When potatoes are soft, mash and add milk, salt, pepper and butter (as you would mashed potatoes)
5. Drain half the fat from the pork mixture, add the mashed potatoes, mix well
6. Line 10" pie plate with one crust, pour pork/potato mixture into pan, cover with remaining pie crust. Vent top of the pie by making small slices the top crust with a knife
7. Bake at 375º for approximately 45 minutes or until top is light brown

This can also be frozen and baked frozen. Place frozen pie in a 400F oven and bake for approximately 1 hour
Serve with cranberry sauce or pickled beets
