1 bag spinach
2 red delicious apples (pears can be used too)
1 C whole pecans
1 bunch romaine lettuce
4 oz. grated motzarella
1 bunch strawberries, sliced (or Crazins)
Dressing:
3/4 C sugar (I use 1/2 C sugar sub. and 1/4C sugar)
1 tsp dried mustard
1 tsp. salt
1 T poppy seeds
1/3 C cider vinegar
1 C canola oil
1 1/2 T fresh grated onion

Directions:
Directions:
Dice apples leaving the skin on and slice the strawberries. Mix all of the greens, pecans and motzarella in large bowl. Refrigerate until ready to use. Mix all of the dressing ingredients together and blend well. Add the apples to the dressing to keep from turning brown. Add strawberries and dressing to salad right before serving. Toss well. Serving size: 6-8 Prep time 20 min.

This recipe was given to me by a good friend and I had it first at her house and loved it. I make this salad a lot for guests and it is always a hit.
