3 c. flour
14 Tbsp. butter
4 Tbsp. sugar
2 eggs
1/3 c. whipping cream
7 or 8 medium cooking apples
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. raisins
3/4 c. granulated walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix flour and butter in a round bowl with your hands till mixed well. Add 4 tablespoons sugar, 2 egg yolks (set aside the whites) and cream. Mix well with hands until it comes together as a dough. Set aside for 30 minutes. Peel and grate the apples; set aside.

2. Put dough on a board; cut in half. Butter 16x11" dish lightly with unsalted butter. Roll half of the dough to the size of the baking dish. Put in dish. Sprinkle half of the walnuts over the dough. Squeeze out grated apples and then put all over walnuts. Add raisins, sugar and rest of walnuts. Roll out other half of dough to cover the dish. Beat egg whites and brush over top of the dough. Bake at 325º to 350ºF for 45-60 minutes.
