Vinegar Slaw Recipe

1 large cabbage
1 medium bell pepper
1 medium onion
1 cucumber – if desired
1 large carrot
½ teaspoon salt
Grate all these and sprinkle salt over it.

Dressing:
½ cup sugar
¾ cup vinegar
½ cup vegetable oil

Directions:
Directions:
Boil sugar and vinegar to a full boil. Remove and add oil. Pour over slaw.

Better if made and let ‘rest’ overnight in refrigerator. Will keep in refrigerator up to two weeks.
