2 tbsp oil
3 1/2 lbs beef stew
1 cup flour
2 large potatoes
1 cup carrots chopped
3/4 cup celery chopped
1 onion chopped
3 cloves of garlic
1 tbsp basil
1 tsp dried thyme
1/2 cup chili sauce
1 can beer
1/4 cup brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oil. Coat meat in flour and cook till browned. Put veggies in crock pot with meat overtop, season with spices. Mix chili sauce, beer and brown sugar and pour over. Cook on low 8 hours

This is really really good. Not a big fan of stew until I tried this recipe, hmmm maybe its something to do with the beer?
