2 t. + 2 T. butter
2 T. onion, minced
1/4 c. potatoes, cooked and mashed
1/4 c. bread crumbs, fine
1/2# ground chuck, lean
3/4 c. whipping cream
1 egg
pinch of nutmeg
salt and pepper
1 T. vegetable oil
1 T. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion in 2 t. butter until golden. Combine meat, bread crumbs, 3 T. of cream, salt, egg, nutmeg, and onion. Shape into balls about 3/4 of an inch. Chill. Heat 2 T. butter and fry meatballs until browned. Remove balls reserving meatball juice in pan. Add flour to pan and remaining cream. Thicken to make a gravy. Pour over meatballs and serve.
