Ingredients:  
1 medium yellow onion, chopped,
3 large potatoes, pealed and cubed,
5 slices of bacon, cut in small pieces,
2 cup. green cabbage, chopped,
1/2 cup Italian parsley, chopped,
6 cups chicken broth,
3/4 tsp, garlic and herb seasoning,
1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning,
salt and pepper to taste,
2 cups whole milk,
Parmesan cheese, grated.

In large sauce pan, brown bacon, remove bacon but leave grease. Add onion and saute, add potatoes and toss, add cabbage, and all ingredients except milk. Bring to boil, then simmer until potatoes are tender. Cool slightly, add bacon then puree until smooth in Vitamix or processor.
Add milk, adjust seasoning and heat to serving temperature. Ladled into soup bowls and top with grated Parmesan cheese and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
