1 - 24 oz jar Bertolli Tomato & Basil Sauce
1 - 15 oz can chopped tomatoes
2 - cans baby clams with juice
5 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
6 stalks celery, chopped
1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
1/2 medium onion, chopped
1/4 tsp thyme
6 slices bacon, fried and broken is small pieces, reserve 1 Tbsp grease
dash of tabasco, optional (but Thad thinks it is necessary)

Directions:

Boil potatoes until tender, but not too soft. Drain. Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for at least one hour.
