1 C chopped dates
1 C boiling water with 1 tsp baking soda, dissolved. Pour over dates and let cool.
1 C sugar
2 C flour
3 Tbsp powdered cocoa
pinch salt
1 Tbsp vanilla
1 C chopped nuts
1 C mayonnaise

Directions:
Mix dry ingredients together. Add to dates, then add vanilla and mayonnaise. Mix well. Pour into 9x13 pan sprayed with no stick spray. Bake at 350º for about 50 minutes.
