1 Venison Roast,
2 packages Lipton Onion soup mix,
1 can chopped tomatoes,
3-4 carrots peeled and cut in large pieces,
1 onion sliced or roughly chopped,
1 cup red wine.

Directions:
Directions:
Combine carrots, onions and roast in crock pot. Sprinkle soup mix over top. Add canned tomatoes and wine. You can adjust the amount of liquid with water and also add more tomatoes if you like.
Cook on high 3-4 hours or low 6-7 hours.

Delicious, moist and tender. You can use the broth to make a gravy or just serve au jus.
