Cake:
1 1/4 cups boiling water
1 cup quick cooking oatmeal
1 stick margerine
2 eggs
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt

Icing:
1/3 cup margerine
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup half and half
1 cup coconut
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:

Cake:
Pour boiling water over oatmeal and margerine. Mix eggs, sugars, flout, soda, cinnamon and salt; add to oatmeal mixture. Bake at 350º for 30-35 minutes.

Icing:
Mix margarine, brown sugar and half and half in pan. Bring to boil for one minute. Add coconut and nuts. Spread over warm cake.
