1 Shin Bone with meat or beef cubes
1 medium white turnip - chopped
1 medium onion - chopped
2 carrots - sliced
2 ribs celery - chopped
2 bay leaves
1tsp. garlic powder
1 large can crushed tomatoes
2 cans water
3/4 - cup barley
salt to taste
pepper to taste
1 - tbsp veggie oil.


Directions:

Sear meat in a large soup pot with the oil until brown, add all the ingredients except the barley. Cook until veggies are tender, add the barley & continue to cook until barley is done.
