Brownies:
3 squares of unsweetened chocolate
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
1/2 tsp. peppermint
Dash of salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Fondant topping:
2 T butter
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp. peppermint
1 T milk

Chocolate topping:
1 square unsweetened chocolate
1 T butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Melt 3 sq. unsweetened chocolate in 1/2 cup butter.
Beat eggs. Add sugar and flour and mix well. Add walnuts a little at a time. Add peppermint, salt, and baking powder and mix well. Add chocolate mixture and mix well. Bake for 30 minutes. Cool.

Fondant Topping:
Mix butter with powdered sugar, peppermint, and milk. You can add a little more milk as necessary to get the right consistency. Spread fondant topping on top of the brownies while still warm. Cool completely.

Melt 1 square unsweetened chocolate in 1 T butter. Pour over the brownies, tilting the pan to get full coverage.

Once set, cut brownies into squares.
