1/2 c. shortening
2 3/4 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Frosting: 1/2 lb. powdered sugar
1/2 c. oleo
1 pkg. (8oz.) cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º. Mix ingredients together. Let stand in refigerator at least 1 hour. Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet and press to flatten out. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Let cool completely and frost.

Frosting: Mix ingredients well. If too thin add powdered sugar, if to stiff add a tsp. of milk.
