9 inch unbaked pastry shell
2 eggs
1 Cup sugar
1/2 Cup butter
3 to 4 tablespoons of bourbon (optional)
1/8 Cup cornstarch
1 Cup chopped pecans
1 Cup chocolate chips (half milk and half semisweet)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
Beat eggs slightly
Gradually add sugar
Add melted butter and bourbon
Mix well
Blend in cornstarch
Add pecans and chocolate chips
Pour in pastry shell
Bake for 45 to 50 minutes

If serving at a dinner party and it was made the night before. Put the pie in the oven on warm during dinner. It will create a great smell and be the perfect temperature when it's time to serve.
