1/3 cup plus 2 tablespoons of olive oil
1/2 cup mineced red onion ( cut in tiny pices)
2 cups of chopped broccoli
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme
8 slices bread ( sourdough,rye, or wheat
2 cups of grated cheddar cheese

1. measure 2 tbsp. of olive oil onto frying pan. Put the pan on the stove and turn on heat to medium. Wait for 30 sec. then add the onions.2. stir and cook onions for 2 min. then add broccoli. Add tsp. of salt and 1/2 tsp. of fried tyme.
3.stir and cook for about 8 min. 4. scrape al vegetables into a bowl. 5. measure 1/3 cup of olive oil. 6. Dip brush in olive oil and paint both slices of bread. 7. clean frying pan put back on the stove and turn heat on medium. 8. put 1 or 2 slices of oiled bread in the pan and cook until the bread is golden brown underneath ( use a spatula to peek) 9. flip bread over and turn heat to low.10. use a soup spoon to put some of the broccoli mixture in the center of each piece of bread in the frying pan. 11. sprinkle some cheese over the broccoli mixture. Cover pan to help the cheese melt sooner. Wait for about 3 min. 12. lift the lid to see if cheese has melted. Also, peek underneath the bread to see if bottom has turned golden brown. 13. When the sandwhich is ready use a spatula to lift it out the pan and put it on a plate. Enjoy your grilled cheese and broccoli sandwhich!

you will need a knife,cutting board,handheld grater or food processor,measuring spoons,frying pan with lid,wooden spoon,1 cuo liqiud measure,brush,spatula,soup spoon,plates.
