5 Quarts water
1 Quart dark vinegar
1/2 cup kosher salt
Fresh Dill sprigs
Black peppercorns
Garlic cloves
crushed red peppers
Dill seed

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and clean the asparagus (break) bring the brine to a HARD boil until salt is dissolve add dill seed. Pack jars (lightly) with the asparagus (spears up) pour hot brine over the top covering the tips add a fresh sprig of dill, add a small garlic clove and 1 tsp peppercorns add crushed red pepper if you like it hot. Boil in water batch 25 min.
