1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. boiling water
2 cinnamon sticks
1 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. rum

Directions:
Directions:
Combine brown sugar, cornstarch, and boiling water in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Heat until starts to thicken. Add cinnamon sticks butter, and rum. Cook a little longer. Serve over apple dumpling with ice cream or whipped cream.
