6 to 8 apples
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup plus 1 tablespoon sugar
3/4 cup butter
1 beaten egg
1 cup flour
pinch of salt
1/2 cup walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
In a pie plate, fill 3/4 full with sliced, peeled apples. Combine 1 tablespoon sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon and sprinkle over apples. I a bowl melt butter in microwave. add 1 cup sugar and 1 beaten egg mix well. Add in flour, salt and walnuts. Pour over apples evenly. Bake at 350 º for 40 mins or until golden brown.

I ALWAYS DOUBLE THIS RECIPE and use a 9x13 pan.
