10 TBSP. SUGAR
1 TBSP. VANILLA
NUTMEG

Directions:

FILL A 2-1/2 QUART CASSEROLE DISH 2/3 FULL OF MILK. POUR MILK INTO SAUCEPAN AND SCALD. BEAT TOGETHER THE EGGS AND SUGAR. POUR MILK INTO EGGS. MIX GOOD AND ADD 1 TBSP. VANILLA. POUR BACK INTO CASSEROLE DISH. WITH A SLOTTED SPOON, SKIM OFF FOAM FROM TOP. SPRINKLE WITH NUTMEG. PUT PAN FILLED WITH BOILING WATER IN OVEN TO HOLD THE CASSEROLE DISH. BAKE AT 325º FOR 1 HOUR.
