1 pkg. of yeast
1/2 cup of raisins
3 cups of flour
4 eggs
2 1/2 tbsp. vanilla
1 orange (just the rind)
1 tbsp. salt
2 cups sugar
1/2 box of prunes
1 lb. poppyseed
1 stick butter
1/2 tbsp. cinnamon
Milk (enough to make prune paste)
1 egg yolk

Dough:

Dissolve yeast in a 1 cup of warm water - set aside.
Soak 1/2 cup raisins in warm water - set aside.
Mix together eggs, 1 1/2 tbsp. vanilla, orange rind, salt, sugar, drained raisins, and yeast water mixture. Slowly add flour to the above mixture and knead for about 15 minutes until it forms a ball. Cover and let rise.

Filling:

Cook prunes and mash.
Combine: Poppyseed, butter, 1 tbsp. vanilla, cinnamon, prunes, and enough milk to make a paste. Cook until it just starts to boil.
Divide dough into three pieces, roll out, spread filling on and roll up. Beat egg yolk and glaze loaves. Bake at 450º for about 45 mins.
