2 Tbsp butter
1/4 C sugar
1 C flour
Filling:
jam of your choice. I use raspberry and apricot Smuckers)
Topping:
1/3 to 1/2 C sliced almonds
1/4 C sugar
2 Tbsp butter
1 1/2 Tbsp cream (may need a little more)
2 tsp flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, add sugar blending well. Blend in flour. Divide into 12 small ungreased molds, pressing dough into molds with fingers. (sandbakel or tart molds) Bake in 350º oven for 10 minutes. While baking combine topping ingredients in saucepan. Cook on high heat, stirring constantly until mixture boils. Remove from heat. After shells have cooled slightly spread1 Tbsp jam in each shell. then 1 Tbsp sauce. Bake at 350º 10-15 minutes or until light brown. Cool and Carefully remove from pans. These are a little difficult to remove from the pan. Make sure they are completely cool and run a sharp knife along the edges to help release the tart.

I make this around the holidays. They are very sweet and look nice on a dessert tray. I usually double or triple the recipe if I'm going to use these for dessert gift trays.
