Ingredients:  
3 eggs
2 tbsp oil
2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp ginger
Scant 2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
mixture will be sticky, flour hands

SYRUP
1 cup honey (1 pound jar)
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp ginger
1/2 cup boiling water - add after cooking

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, sugar, ginger, baking powder together
Make well in center
Mix in eggs & oil work into flour mixture until dough formed (may have to add additional flour)
Break of pieces of dough & roll into pencil thick strips cut into about 1 inch pieces and tie into loose knot. Place in boiling syrup

SYRUP
Place honey, sugar, ginger in pot, bring to a boil
Drop in taiglach, cook,simmering 30 minutes covered
When finished cooking Shut heat off add 1/2 cup boiling water. Mix
