1 can (lb. size cream-style corn)
3/4 cup milk
1/3 cup salad oil
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup yellow cornmeal
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
4 oz. can Ortega chiles, chopped
1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients except chiles and cheese. Pour half of the ingredients into 8 X 12 pan. Sprinkle all of the chopped chiles and half of the cheese on top. Spread remaining batter on top then balance of cheese.
Bake 30 minutes at 400 degree oven. Remove and let cool a little. Tastes better when not so absolutely hot.
